Site Selection and Preparation

Environmental Conditions

The installation site should be chosen with careful consideration of environmental factors. The area should be free from excessive vibrations and shocks, which can affect the precision and stability of the machine. Additionally, the ambient temperature should ideally remain between -20°C and 40°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid locations with corrosive gases or conductive dust that could damage electrical components or compromise the integrity of the machine.

Space Allocation

Allocate sufficient space around the machine to facilitate easy access for maintenance, operation, and material handling. The recommended space includes not only the footprint of the machine itself but also additional clearance for auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, cooling systems, and material storage. A general guideline is to allocate a space of at least 2.5 meters by 10 meters to accommodate the entire production line comfortably.

Foundation Construction

Material and Mix Ratio

The foundation should be constructed using high-quality concrete, typically a mix of 300 or 400 grade cement, clean sand, and gravel. The mix ratio should be carefully controlled to ensure the concrete has the necessary strength and durability. A common ratio is 1 part cement to 2 parts sand to 3 parts gravel, mixed with water to achieve a workable consistency.

Excavation and Formwork

Begin by excavating the foundation pit according to the machine's specifications, ensuring it is deep enough to accommodate the machine's base and any additional anchoring requirements. Simultaneously, excavate trenches for electrical conduits, water pipes, and compressed air lines. Install formwork for the anchor bolt holes, shaping them as梯形 (trapezoidal) or conical to facilitate easy removal after the concrete has set.

Concrete Pouring and Curing

Pour the concrete into the prepared foundation pit, ensuring it is evenly distributed and free from air pockets. Cover the freshly poured concrete with a protective layer, such as a grass mat, and keep it moist by watering it twice a day for at least 24 hours. The curing process should continue for a minimum of seven days, with the ambient temperature maintained above 5°C. During this period, avoid applying any load to the foundation to prevent cracking or settling.

Anchoring and Leveling

After the concrete has cured sufficiently, remove the formwork from the anchor bolt holes. Position the machine over the foundation, aligning it with the anchor bolt holes. Insert the anchor bolts through the machine's base and into the holes, ensuring they are vertically aligned. Leave enough thread exposed above the nut to allow for height adjustments during the leveling process.

Secondary Concrete Pouring

Fill the anchor bolt holes with concrete, ensuring it is packed tightly around the bolts to provide a secure anchor. Allow this secondary concrete to cure for at least ten days before proceeding with the leveling and alignment steps. This extended curing period ensures maximum strength and stability.

Leveling and Alignment

Use a pair of斜铁板 (inclined iron plates) with a slope ranging from 1/20 to 1/10, combined with a flat steel plate, to adjust the machine's height and level. Place the flat plate on the foundation, followed by the pair of inclined plates in opposite directions. Position these under the anchor bolts to fine-tune the machine's elevation and ensure it is perfectly level. Check the alignment of the machine's centerline with that of the production line, making any necessary adjustments to achieve precise positioning.

Final Checks and Connections

Tightening Anchor Bolts

Once the machine is properly leveled and aligned, pre-tighten the anchor bolts diagonally to ensure even distribution of force. Gradually increase the tightening torque to the manufacturer's recommended specifications, taking care not to over-tighten and risk damaging the bolts or the foundation.

Utility Connections

Connect the machine to the electrical supply, water, and compressed air lines according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free, using appropriate seals and fittings. Test the electrical system for proper grounding and insulation resistance to prevent electrical hazards.

Pre-Operation Inspection

Before commissioning the machine, conduct a thorough inspection to verify that all components are securely fastened, and there are no loose parts or debris inside the machine. Check the lubrication system to ensure it is properly filled and functioning correctly. Finally, perform a trial run without material to confirm that the machine operates smoothly and all systems are functioning as intended.
